HOSPICE TREE REPORT
This
year was totally new for the Sussex County Festival of Trees = mainly, the location, but also the committee and the entire
function. It was held in the Rehoboth Convention Center in downtown Rehoboth, which is smaller than the area at Del-Tech;
but it was lovely and inviting. Every single ornament that we painted was wired onto the tree, we added some colorful,
shiny ornaments, had a huge bow on top and had the most beautiful tree skirt there. Check out the pictures on our web
site.
Thanks to all of you who painted the ornaments, to Elaine for cutting out all 120 of the ornaments, those
who helped decorate, to Shelly for decorating the lovely wreath, and to Mary for making the gorgeous tree skirt. You
did more than good. And here's the best part - our tree was bought by Lank, Johnson and Tull, CPA's for $500 and
was donated to Nanticoke Hospital where it was displayed! So a lot of people got to enjoy our fine craftsmanship.
Now we have to start working on next year's!!
